We’re off it’s official!
Well it’s official!! We have paid the deposit so now we are committed to cycling 400kms across Tanzania in 5 days. We have also been on our first training ride, Mark has not been on a bike for nearly 10 years and Rachel has not been on a bike for 24 years…..other than that we will be fine.
Ron’s cycle shop 10 Wellbrook Street in Tiverton has done us proud, we are also the proud owners of 2 new Barracuda bikes with big gel seats. They are like sitting on a sofa and will be coming with us. We will keep you updated on our progress….

we are going on the same bike ride and look forward to meeting you in London on the way to Tanzania. Ramon is from Tenerife and I am from Dundee. He cycles a bit but is just out of plaster and I dont cycle a lot. On the first day i got on a bike I worked out that it would take me 66 days. It is exciting tho’. We look forward to meeting you and hope you keep in touch.
